EVERYONE IS WELL

The Dehnerts and much of the campus has come through the Fevered Pitch well.  Janelle and Kelly finally got on antibiotics and it kicked it quite quickly!

The doctor's little girl came through well while they were in South Africa and then the Doc got it again, or at least some version of it closer to mine!  He is on antibiotics and doing much, much better now.

FEVERED PITCH

The whole ABC campus could use your prayers!  We have a fever outbreak with 4 families suffering diarrhea, fever, and vomiting.  Our doctor’s family is heading to South Africa today as their 3 week old baby has it and they want to get more specialized attention.

I am on my third day – the first two days I could hardly get out of bed – and all but Joel have it as well…a real bummer.  Especially to the ones who don’t have it as bad as they run about trying to deal with all our moaning!

JESUS FILM in Chimoka

Our Thursday outreach team put together a trip to the village on Saturday night to show the "Jesus Film".  This is a very well done movie (2 hours) showing some of the highlights of Luke's gospel narrative of Jesus' life.  It has been translated into hundreds of languages including Chichewa, the main language here.

Larry Brown, Professor of History and Theology, has a mobile setup and agreed to take us out.  It was thundering and lightening around us, but it cleared up for the movie.  There were many prayers for the rain to stay away.
