BACK IN THE SADDLE...Or at least unpacking

We arrived back in Malawi on Thursday, August 23 at 12:45 after about 21 hours of flying beginning on Tuesday.  It was the first time we have done the straight trip, though we still started in mid-America rather than in Wyoming!

Summer in the West

We hit the ground running as we returned from Malawi through Austria to Wyoming, USA.  We had a fantastic, though hard-working, time in Telfes, Austria.  The International Chamber Seminar, which is going through a name change to its umbrella organization - Arts In The Alps - was a huge success.  The purpose of "bridging cultural and spiritual gaps" was realized through the continued development of growing relationships with a number of people we work with in the valley.  We only hope their kindness to us is matched with our kindness to them.

Since returning to Wyoming we have spent more time on the road than in Wyoming.  Our travels have taken us to Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Missouri and this weekend, Utah.  When we return to Malawi - beginning on August 16 - we will be in Chattanooga, TN delivering Britney to Covenant College.  There we will speak in a couple churches and say (probably) tearful goodbyes.
