FINAL DAYS

We are fast approaching Finals at African Bible College.  Though there is a certain amount of insecurity on the part of students graduating in the US at this point in their lives, it is a bit overwhelming for students here.  Jobs are very scarce and much of the economy runs on NGOs (non-governmental organizations).  NGO's are all foreign money and are considered the 'savior' by many Malawians as their pay top employees is usually better than the average pay.

So, many of our students apply hither and yon, searching for just nearly any job.  Unfortunately, the idea of 'calling' is often lost making them ineffective in the jobs they happen to get.  To be gifted and needed for a given job is not really the issue...it is just getting a job!
