- Britney & Patrick Wood
They are married! On a beautiful day, July 3, our oldest, Britney and Patrick Wood got married in Lander, Wyoming. They had an outdoor wedding at a nearby ranch with the Wind River Mountain Range as the backdrop. There was a wonderful turnout of dear friends including folks from Malawi, Mississippi, California, etc. We had a wonderful time showing off the beauty of Wyoming to these friends.
Brit and Patrick are now living in Chattanooga where she is finishing her last year in Elementary Education at Covenant College and he is finishing his last year in Music Theory & Composition at University of Tennessee, Chattanooga. Their hopes and plans are to get to the West as soon as possible...though both sets of parents would love to have them nearer by in Africa or Florida!
Thank you to all who have prayed for us this summer. It has been a full and blessed time with friends and family. We have just a bit less than 2 weeks left and we will be headed back to Malawi. We plan to be back in the US for a Home Missionary Assignment in 2011 for one year. We will be traveling a lot reconnecting with folks with interest in God's work in Malawi. We look forward to having a bit more time to sit down and chat with many of you!!!

WE HAD A GREAT TIME AT ANDY & MEGAN'S WEDDING
AND SEEING ALL THE FOLKS FROM MALAWI. WE ARE
FINE AND PLAN TO HEAD DOWN MEXICO WAY IN MID-
OCTOBER FOR A MONTH WORKING ON WHATEVER THEY
HAVE FOR US TO DO. CHUCK HAD A GREAT TIME IN
MALAWI. MEANWHILE CHUCK IS LEADING OUR WORSHIP
TEAM FOR ABOUT 5 SUNDAYS & EJOYING IT JOANNE I AM ENJOYING BEING BACK ON THE ORGAN AGAIN...
